these are a few pieces from a project i am working on, modeled after czech avant garde artist, KAREL TEIGE. i am doing the entire alphabet and im almost done! these are some of my favs, but i cant bring out the big guns yet. the photos were shot by joseph delhammer, styled by me and directed by me and kristina krkjuls. the modeling was split between me and my best friend DREA....who gets extra points for actually having a swim cap...it totally tied it all together! i have to say, i REALLY love this project and it has been so much fun to make...yaaaay!

TOMS OF MAINE

Tom's of Maine makes "organic" personal hygiene products. I wanted to get across the idea that their products have something for everyone...organic, green, kosher, vegan, halaal, and like anything else that is picky and specialized and Whole Foods. They are really into keeping their website and packaging crappy looking so people think that theyre mom and pop, when really Crest bought them for 100 million dollars hahaha. I drew everything on here (except the letters ironically!)...the butcher is my favvv...i used three different layers of pastel drawings to make him and i think hes cute.

UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX

this a print series for the online college University of Phoenix. words cannot express what a horrible project this was...seriously...i HATED it. buuut, i am pretty happy with how it came out! me and my partner loved the idea of "plan b" but we are no copywriters, which is the main reason it was so tuff. and we knew the kind of humor we wanted it to have, but we're not really that funny so it was a serious struggle hahaha. oh, advertising...

FONT KETCHUP.

some more fonts...old and new! PEEP SHOW is from a EGD project i worked on this quarter at school...i made a burlesque peepshow and i used this for some signage...there are actually a TON of hand drawn fonts from that project that need to be finished, so stay tuned. ONOMATOPOEIA is pretty old...its one of the first fonts that i ever made....its not techincally perfect, but i kinda like it that way...its a BIG UP to Comicraft...the BEST lettering house on the planet! they are responsible for every amazing comic book font out there...super influential to me and mannnnny. (great site, too!) next we've got CONSTRUCTION...i am trying to make complete upper and lower case fonts for anything thats not too fancy...i had a horrible time on a few of these letters but after putting on the shelf for over a month, i remembered that its time to finish it. Lastly, GNAR!!! this is actually inspired by another project i am currently working on (czech avant garde fun!). anyway...made a couple variations for it. so 80s, soooo gnarls...enjoyyy.

BLOCKAGE.

"you can blame it all on me." wood versions to come. i had to "sample" a piece from the wolfsonian...i chose an old bauhaus poster (i know...im so BORING!!!) that used blocked color just like on the right side of the page. i jsut kept mixing up the blocks into letters.

WILLIAMS SONOMA

well, its about that time to start posting stuff for the end of the quarter. this is a print campaign for WILLIAMS SONOMA...the tag is "share your love." the first two are reg print ads and could be used as posters; the third is for print and each heart is a peel out sticker; the fourth and fifth are the front and back of a print piece that features punch-out postcard invites. there is a web element too, but these are my favs
