well well well wellll welllllllll...you guys have certainly outdone yourselves this time!!!  Jesus!  I just want to extend a really huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the show on Friday! Man...that was just too much fucking fun!

Seeing everyone color the girls, lifting each other up for the dirty werd search, and get totally shitty drunk was so amazing.  My goal was to create an environment that turned my artwork into a fun, horny, drunken, debaucherous evening of interactivity, and I think it definitely worked!  The shit that everyone drew was SO awesome and hilarious, I could've never thought of that stuff myself.

There was a point in the night when, after stepping out for about 45 mins to spoke a joint, the party had officially reached "the next level" once I returned...crayons ground into the floor, people writing on the ceiling, air ducts, window, wood floor, couches, and anything else they could reach.  It was absolutely fucking crazy.  I loved it so much...

I will be photographing the space properly this week, but in the meantime, check out these flicks from the opening.  We will be opening the space for the Aftermath Viewing on FRIDAY, JULY 27th from 9-1am.  Erick Sermon will be spinning live, so DEFINITELY don't miss it!!!!!!!

The coloring wall at my show was really the most fun shit I've ever done, so I thought that instead of just hanging pieces in the gallery I would make the whole space like walking into the pages of one of my activity books: coloring, connect the dots, werd searches, etc.  It will be super fun and hilarious....I can't wait!!!  And its up for a whole week to party with!

Miami, FL (July 10, 2012) – Primary Projects presents Jessy Nite’s Color Me Porno Playhouse, a pop-up produced in response to NFA’s dramatic return to Miami nightlife.  On the heels of Nite’s February 2012 solo exhibition Bad As I Wanna Be, the mixed media artist is expanding her Color Me Porno gallery installation into an interactive exhibition of pornographic proportions.  Just one floor above what is being billed as the revival of Miami’s golden age of parties, two giant rooms at Villa 221 (Skybox Gallery) will be transformed into an adult-themed playground.  Nite revamps childhood art games including connect the dots, word searches and coloring activities to both visually and viscerally complement sets by the legendary Tom Laroc and DJ Elle, with DJTonyG, Tommy Clark and Tony Bird Torrellio.  The first in a series of standout events by the NFA crew in more than a decade, Color Me Porno Playhouse launches on Friday, July 20 with a private preview of Nite’s installation sponsored by Voli Vodka from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.  For more information and exhibition hours, please visit www.primaryprojectspace.com.

With Color Me Porno, Nite radically expands upon the draw-it-yourself and coloring components that emerged as a crowd pleaser at Bad As I Wanna Be.  The artist’s brash confidence and overtly sexualized line drawings lure the viewer into becoming willing participants in her work; and blur the lines between audience and performance, privacy and shared experience.

Jessy Nite is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer who studied shoe design at the Fashion Institute in New York and Art Direction at the Miami Ad School. She has exhibited both fine art and design projects in Miami, São Paulo and Bangkok. Press coverage includes HypeBeast, the Fader, and CG+Bangkok. Nite lives and works in Miami.

A VERY KINKY KRIZMAS!

Ho Ho Hoeeeee and jingle my ballz...its christmas time again! And hey guess what....I care about Christmas even less than ever hahaha. But, I DO care enough to squeeze in a most incredible gift for YOUUUUU. Okay, so this is technically from a porno christmas coloring book I made for a friend, but lets not accuse me of re-gifting....its allll luuuuuvvvv....

So yeah....envoke the holiday spirit by printing out and coloring-in this hot centerfold bittttccchhhh. OR make a friend merry by giving them the gift of porn...it worked for me! But for real...i wish the warmest, happiest, positiviest year to errrrybody!

DIRRRRTY 30!!!

so my sister's best friend (aka my self proclaimed "biggest fan") just had her 30th birthday and my sissy asked if i would make her a special porno drawing. so, i busted this one out really quick and my sister had it printed as a poster and post cards where everyone could write their favorite memories of the birthday girl, LADY BRANDY. which is HILARIOUS because you know, its tough to get sentimental and porny at the same time. hahaha man i love those ladies!

GRADUATION PRESENTATION!

well, what you heard is true...yesterday, june 18, 2009, jessy the nite rider kennedy graduated college! yes....it ISSSSSSSSSSS true! the parades, the fireworks, the marching bands....all for me! i swear, you out of towners wouldnt BELIEVE the big deal that this city made about the whole thing. they even had to shut down the macarthur because of it! okay, so i dont know why that was closed...but i SWEAR the other stuff is true. okay not even close. BUT i did graduate, and while the ceremony was lame, i was so happy to be there and especially with my cheering section of lovely ladies. thanks for coming guys! so special! anyway, here are some shots from my presentation...more than anything, i was just siked to see my pieces so GIGANTIC on the projector! alright, so now i have to stop talking about graduation and school...i wore the topic out about a month before i even graduated, but now, no more excuses...its over :( shout outs to everyone who hung out last night and drank champagne and stuff...oh and love to my KEEN ONE who brought me a vrrrry special gift...the most perfectly ripe mango ive had in months...belezzzzza!!!

ROBERT BROWNJOHN

for TIM HOSSLER's class awhile back, we were randomly assigned a more obscure designer to learn about and produce something representing them. I was sooooo lucky to get ROBERT BROWNJOHN. did you know his book is called SEX AND TYPOGRAPHY!?! i know! amazingly perfect! and i got him by accident. anyway, i really love his work because, even though he was an ad man, he tried to make interesting art that was either part of the campaign or went along with it in a gallery show or something. he did a poster called Obsession & Fantasy, and that was (obviously) my inspiration. i like that he made everything sexual, but not objectifying...he also tended to take the big idea and go realllllllly far with it in execution. so, this is the cover to a fantasy porno coloring book i made for the project. inside, line drawings of porno girl centaurs, octopus and lots more!
